Pete Wallace

Pete is an experienced power industry engineer with a focus on renewable energy automation with emphasis on the hydropower market.

As Emerson’s Manager of Business Development, Pete is responsible for creating business opportunities in the hydropower sector by identifying digitally transformative solutions that solve customer problems.

Pete has 30 plus years of hydro-specific expertise and extensive experience in renewable control design, strategy implementation and service. He has held varying positions throughout his career, each with increased responsibility including controls engineer, governor specialist, senior engineer and business development manager.

Pete received a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand in Electrical Engineering.
